The room at Casa Vana Hiriketiya was incredibly spacious, with a large private veranda that had a daybed perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful jungle views. It felt like my own little oasis. The wooden bungalow embodied the true essence of a forest property, blending in seamlessly with the natural surroundings. It gave me a sense of tranquility and serenity during my stay. Whether you prefer two single beds or one queen bed, this lovely room has got you covered. It offers flexibility and comfort for all types of guests. I was lucky to have a balcony in my room, providing me with a lovely outdoor space to unwind and take in the fresh air. Some rooms at Casa Vana Sri Lanka come equipped with a kitchen, complete with a fridge, stovetop, and toaster. It was perfect for those moments when I wanted to prepare my own meals. The option of having two rooms with a connecting door was a great feature, ideal for families or groups traveling together. The double room I stayed in was equipped with a balcony, air conditioning, and offered a delightful garden view. It made me feel right at home. The provided free WiFi in the air-conditioned rooms ensured that I could stay connected and share my amazing experiences with friends and family. Another nice touch was having kitchenware available in the double room, allowing me to easily cook and enjoy meals at my convenience. One unique feature that stood out to me was the outdoor bathroom in my room. It added a touch of nature and brought a sense of adventure to my daily routine.
Personally, I found the outdoor bathroom a bit unconventional. While it added a unique touch, it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel surrounded by the lush jungle. the rooms were beautifully designed, with comfortable beds and stunning bathrooms. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the lovely Hiriketiya beach, ideal for surfing. the hotel had attention to detail when it came to sustainability, with solar panels and no single-use plastics. the host was attentive and provided great recommendations for places to visit.
Wifi connectivity in the rooms was poor, but it worked fine in the common areas.
